The Walkmen are taking a break from their so-called "extreme hiatus."
The band announced back in November that they had "no future plans whatsoever," but now they're set to get back together for at least one night in February. They're booked to play the Rock On Foundation's inaugural Alt-Star Party during this year's NBA All-Star break.
Frontman Hamilton Leithauser admitted in a press release that he and his bandmates thought it might take a lifetime to get the group back together. But he says there was no way they could stay on the bench when they got the nod for the Alt-Star event, which is being hosted by San Antonio Spurs player Matt Bonner.
The Walkmen are scheduled take the stage at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans on February 15th.
